I have blogged how capitalism is unfair in America because it is rigged in many ways to benefit the rich. The rich always get advantages the poor do not get, like loan rates banks, partnerships from other rich people, discounts the poor will never see, price breaks for being able to pay cash . . . I am ot saying the rigged economy is anyone's fault, but it is real.
This is not solely a matter of White Privilege, the leaving the res of us in the dust thing. But it involves a lot of white-ness.
""I think that we're seeing the symptoms of an economic imbalance. I think low economic growth and low economic performance is actually tied to this question: it's both an effect and a cause. What's happening is that we have significant sectors of the economy — and they're skewed towards those with lots of credentials — that can claim monopoly rents, we have significant monopolies in our technology and financial sector[s], these are the root causes of what we're seeing. "
No matter how hard you worked, the blood and sweat you used to succeed white man, you were PRIVILEGED! White Privilege is something you are blind to, it is not a myth, it is a black person's burden in America. You do not see the big picture Mr. 9.9%.
WHITE people cannot say White Privilege does not exist because they cannot experience White Privilege as black people do! Think about it.

"1. You're going to have to get uncomfortable.
2. "Your black friend would like to say something to the racist lady, but doesn't want to appear to be that 'angry black man.'"
[Since restructuring all American society is going to take a long time, public shaming is helpful . . . but hard on us all. It's embarrassing to be called out for your / our racism. it also sis dangerous to public shame a cop - they shoot you for that.]
3. We are constantly monitoring our surroundings and adjusting our clothes, hair, speed, and speech to maintain white comfort.
4. "Your black friend wishes you'd play more than Beyoncé. There are more black performers than Beyoncé."
5. Speaking of which, performative blackness is really uncomfortable.
6. "Your black friend feels like a man without a country."
7. We would love it if we could stop talking about our anxiety and frustrations regarding racism. But right now, that's impossible. "
That is the list of seven (7) which could be a list of 50, but we do nt do that because you would not read it.

"Whiteness is the default norm around which most of our culture is organized, and because it permeates our world without being acknowledged, it’s largely invisible.
I’d never thought about white privilege and the advantages it’s given my family and me until I read White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack by Peggy McIntosh."
