Racism is alive and well, as is White Privilege, and here are more stupid "police protocol." Two very "scary" black men are fortunate the police did not shoot them, then handcuff them.

DO NOT tell me these two black men seemed "suspicious." DO NOT ask me to accept a police protocol to handcuff black men in Starbucks.
The crime here is the Starbucks employee wasting police time, AND the police wasting these two black men's time. The police kept them in jail until 2AM! For what crime? The crime of being black!
"A store manager had asked the two men to leave after they asked to use the bathroom but had not made any purchases, police said. The men declined to leave and said they were waiting for a friend, their attorney later said. The manager then called 911 for assistance, the company said."
Where there so few seats that the store manager needed those two seats? Were these guys being rowdy? What caused the store manager to ask these two men to leave?
"“Creating an environment that is both safe and welcoming for everyone is paramount for every store. Regretfully, our practices and training led to a bad outcome — the basis for the call to the Philadelphia police department was wrong,” Johnson said. “Our store manager never intended for these men to be arrested and this should never have escalated as it did.”"
Calling 911 suggests the store manager was racist at worst, incompetent at best. He could not do his job so he called the police.
It took the cops eight (8) hours to let them go?
"The two men were taken to a police station, where they were fingerprinted and photographed, their attorney Lauren Wimmer told The Washington Post on Saturday. Her clients, who declined to be identified, were released eight hours later because of lack of evidence of a crime, she said, adding that the Starbucks manager was white."
The men being arrested never challenged the cops, even though they had every right to do so. Why are you arresting me is a fair question. WHITE PRIVILEE. POLICE EXTREMES. WHITE NATION!
"Wimmer said the man whom the two men were there to meet, Andrew Yaffe, runs a real estate development firm and said Yaffe wanted to meet the men to discuss business investment opportunities. In the video, Yaffe arrives to tell police that the two men were waiting for him. [So why did the police arrest the men? They knew there was no bad intent, but the police are like robots that cannot control their will or racism to arrest black men.]
“Why would they be asked to leave?” Yaffe says. “Does anybody else think this is ridiculous?” he asks people nearby. “It’s absolute discrimination.”
Melissa DePino, who was present and shared the viral video that her friend recorded, told Philadelphia magazine that the men did not escalate the situation. “These guys never raised their voices. They never did anything remotely aggressive,” she said."

He noted that the omnipresent coffee shops are known for being community hubs of people who do not necessarily buy anything, suggesting that the manager’s actions may have been motivated by race."
