The United States has provided North Koreas GOOD REASON to fear a surprise attack from a belligerent, racists, and frightened United States.

North Korea is the tiniest kid on the block telling the bully he will kick his ass, so why does the most powerful nation on the planet acknowledge North Korean threats?  Are we chicken shifts?  Only cowards worry about that tiny kid on the block!

Disclaimer, of a sort: I acknowledge the need of experts, at times, to speak of war with North Korea as a way of taking note of a POSSIBILITY.

Assumption: The United States is never going to initiate, that is be the antagonist, the aggressor, the "bad" guy in the black hat, again, as we were when the United States unilaterally initiated a murderous war on Iraq.  Starting wars is absolutely AGAINST everything American.  I was born in 1947, have friends born in 1926 (still alive thank goodness), and admit my values are from the 1950s Roy Rogers, Hoppalong Cassidy, and the Lone Ranger, as well as General Eisenhower.

War is suicidal!

War is an ugly American "idol."

"Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (film)"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Lynn%27s_Long_Halftime_Walk_(film)

"Billy Lynn (Joe Alwyn), a 19-year old army specialist from Texas, is caught on camera dragging his wounded sergeant Virgil "Shroom" Breem (Vin Diesel) to safety during an intense firefight in Iraq. This act of courage quickly ascends him and his unit, erroneously designated "Bravo Squad" by the media, to celebrity status, beginning a weeks-long nationwide victory tour culminating in a Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving home game halftime show.

The members of Bravo Squad, following their return to North America, are driven in a limousine to the stadium with the Cowboys' PR representative Josh (Ben Platt) and film producer Albert Brown (Chris Tucker), who is in the process of securing a film deal for the squad. A flashback reveals that Billy joined the army after destroying the car of his older sister Kathryn's (Kristen Stewart) boyfriend, who left her after she was in a car accident that required multiple facial reconstruction procedures. Arriving at the stadium, the group is greeted by numerous anxious fans who express gratitude for their actions and blindly support the Iraq War."

This is not a great movie, but it makes a few good points:

  1. War is bad for soldiers.

  2. Americans live wars through their soliders, safe and sound at home on their couches.

  3. War is NOT what soldiers like; killing humans is NOT fun or honorable.

Obvious FACT: if you do not live in, or know anyone in S. Korea, Japan, or China, you have less fear of the downside of war.  Best to BE there to be objective, right?!!!!

Let me REPEAT: The United States has provided North Koreas GOOD REASON to fear a surprise attack from a belligerent, racists, and frightened United States.

"Trump's reaction to North Korea cannot be nuclear" [Or any form of military assault in MY OPINION!]
By Jonathan Cristol, Updated 2:06 PM ET, Mon July 31, 2017

http://www.cnn.com/2017/07/31/opinions/trump-reaction-north-korea-cristol-opinion/

Sanctions ONLY HURT THE PEOPLE of North Korea.  Increasing sanctions only hurts the people more.

China has NO INTEREST in controlling or managing North Korea.  China WANTs North Korea exactly where they are!

North Korea has sufficient military capability without nukes to destroy Seoul.  They have had 62 years under the Armistice to prepare.  South Korea is already their human shield.  A "pre-emotive" sneak attack would be worse than Pearl Harbor for Seoul, while Americans want h North Koreans being slaughtered on their TVs!  It would be like Armageddon for South Koreans.  THAT thought SHOULD turn your stomach, America.

White Westerners too, too easily talk war, rather than peace as in give North Korea a promise, and rewards for PEACE, and quit measuring the size of your hands!

Do you hear ANY people in S. Korea, Japan, or China talking about war as a solution to obstructing North Korea's pursuit of a real, and usable nuclear option?  No, because they see what can happen better than white Western experts.  THE Asian community will suffer, not the Anglo/non-Asian people's of the nearby counties.

Stop talking about war an an option.  WAR is NOT a realistic option!  War is the dumbest!

There are so many ways to avoid war.  The first is the most critical and OBVIOUS, negotiate peace.  Why don't the "expert" wise men talk about the most obvious, and yes, allow North Korea to have its nuclear weapons, just as we have "allowed" Russia and several other countries.

Russia has been a threat to the USA for as many years as they have had nukes.  The leader of North Korea is not insane and wants to live.  These are easy facts.  So how does ANYONE truly believe a war is going to solve our North Korea problem?  How is killing millions of innocent, NON-combatants going to help the World?

Don't make excuses.  A war with North Korea will be worse than ANY war ever gone before.

White people have NO STANDING in threatening North Korea!  The threats from the USA are a BAD idea, like bombers flying over the nearby air space.  In fact, the fly over is symbolic of the vapid, stupid threats of war.  The USA can conduct a "flyover" war, without losing one casualty.  If we have no skin n the "game," to use the slang, we have no place in the discussion.

CONGRESS must act before Tweety acts to bring war!  CONGRESS MUST pass a law ASAP requiring ANY military action against North Korea be presented to a closed meeting with all key Congress people's, both parties, sexes (include females guys .  .  .), disclosing EVERY detail of the war plan.  This means Congress needs to know so they can exercise absolute civilian control of what the military can, will, or want to do/try.  Plans, after all, are only plans, and war does not always follow the plan.

Civilian control of the military is ESSENTIAL!

CONGRESS has to see every scenario of the war plan, even the ones where American lives are lost.  If some American lives are lost, that might be the price to pay to protect millions of other peoples, in a scenario or two.

"North Korea isn’t crazy. It’s insecure, poor, and extremely dangerous"

AND North Korea has GOOD REASON to fear a surprise attack from a belligerent and frightened United States.

FINALLY: The United States has provided North Koreas GOOD REASON to fear a surprise attack from a belligerent, racists, and frightened paranoid United States.

"The estimates of a conflict involving the North’s non-nuclear arsenal alone are hard to fathom. My colleague Alex Ward spells some out:

  - South Korea’s capital city, Seoul, is a so-called “megacity” with a whopping 25.6 million residents living in the greater metropolitan area. It also happens to be within direct firing range of thousands of pieces of North Korean artillery already lined up along the border, also known as the demilitarized zone. Around 70 percent of North Korea’s ground forces are within 90 miles of the DMZ, presumably ready to move south at a moment’s notice.

  - Simulations of a large-scale artillery fight between the North and South produce pretty bleak results. One war game convened by the Atlantic back in 2005 predicted that a North Korean attack would kill 100,000 people in Seoul in the first few days alone. Others put the estimate even higher. A war game mentioned by the National Interest predicted Seoul could “be hit by over half-a-million shells in under an hour.”"

"Here’s an even grimmer statistic: A South Korean simulation conducted in 2004, before the North had developed nuclear weapons, estimated that there could be up to 2 million casualties in the first 24 hours of a conflict."
