"How Trump’s Calls to World Leaders Are Upsetting Decades of Diplomacy"
By MAX FISHER and JOSH KELLER DEC. 2, 2016
President-elect Donald J. Trump has broken with decades of diplomatic practice in freewheeling calls with foreign leaders.
Mr. Trump talks to the president of Taiwan, becoming the first U.S. president or president-elect to do so since 1979.
"Why it matters
The call with President Tsai Ing-wen risks infuriating China, which wants to bring Taiwan back under mainland rule. By honoring the Taiwanese president with a formal call, Mr. Trump’s transition team implicitly suggests that it considers Taiwan an independent state. The U.S. has declined to recognize Taiwan since 1979, when it shifted recognition to the government in Beijing. Taiwan itself has yet to declare formal independence. Mr. Trump tweeted, “The President of Taiwan CALLED ME today to wish me congratulations on winning the Presidency.”"

Tweety Twump is EXACTLY how South Park portrays him, and THAT is scary!
Everybody needs to build heir shelters now and get supplies to last 3 years.
"The President of Taiwan CALLED ME today to wish me congratulations on winning the Presidency. Thank you!"
Where are Tweety Twump's advisors!? They hopefully told him his announcement of the Taiwan call was ill advised, at least.
Why announce this particular call? The USA has not had relations with Taiwan since 1979 FOR A REASON.
Even Tony Soprano knew better to respect turf wars. Do not pick a fight until you know you can win, fool!
Tweety Twump is being polite, of course, so Tweety Twump took the call. Lack of awareness is a bad thing if you are President-elect. And if you are a President-elect who has already established a bad attitude toward China, you have a problem.
Maybe Tweety Twump can make lemonade out of this "lemon," pull this off, and try to show China how tough he is so he can gain a benefit for America? Time will tell.
Tweety - "I do whatever I want!" - toddler-like Twump took a call from the President of Taiwan yesterday, AND THEN TWEETED THE NEWS!
Tweety loves adoring calls like this. No problem taking the call to get more love right? Wrong! Starting off on a bad path even before he takes the Oath of Office!
"China lodges complaint over Trump-Taiwan call"

"(CNN)China's foreign ministry said Saturday it has lodged a complaint with the United States over a controversial phone call between President-elect Donald Trump and Taiwan's President that has overturned decades of diplomatic protocol.China views Taiwan as a renegade province and, since 1979, the US has acknowledged Beijing's claim that Taiwan is part of China, with US-China relations governed by a set of protocols known as the 'one China' policy.
This means there are no formal diplomatic relations between the United States and Taiwan -- so Trump's decision to take Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen's call could risk a major upset."
Tweety Twump's response when he was told he goofed by making the Taiwan call public news:
"Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 12h12 hours ago Interesting how the U.S. sells Taiwan billions of dollars of military equipment but I should not accept a congratulatory call."
Tweety, the USA sells arms to Taiwan so they can protect themselves if they need to, and, ideally, give China the impression that an attack would have a high cost.
China will crush Taiwan if a China chooses to do so, at any time, and in a short battle, and might be more motivated to do so now that YOU HAVE EMBARRASED CHINA AND MADE THEM LOSE FACE IN THE EES OF THE WORLD!
God you are DUMB and STUBBORNLY DUMB!
Sun Tzu:
"15. Unhappy is the fate of one who tries to win his battles and succeed
in his attacks without cultivating the spirit of enterprise; for the
result is waste of time and general stagnation.
16. Hence the saying: The enlightened ruler lays his plans well ahead;
the good general cultivates his resources.
17. Move not unless you see an advantage; use not your troops unless
there is something to be gained; fight not unless the position is
critical.
18. No ruler should put troops into the field merely to gratify his
own spleen; no general should fight a battle simply out of pique."

"Diplomatic experts predict fraught start to US relations with Beijing after president-elect’s conversation with Tsai Ing-wen"
"The call, first reported by the Taipei Times and confirmed by the Financial Times, is thought to be the first between the leader of the island and a US president or president-elect since ties between America and Taiwan were severed in 1979, at Beijing’s behest."
Be aware! Beware!
