Ivanka supports Afghan girls, so her dad approves their visas. That is a very good Donald Trump. Thank you sir, for standing for your real self, not your Bannon self.
Once America was fearless and proud of it's freedoms. Now we are ugly, cynical, afraid of our shadows, fearing teenage girls from a place we have used to test our military weapons and kill the Afghanistan people as we try to find and kill "terrorists" for fifteen years!
"U.S. denies visas for Afghanistan’s all-girl robotics team"
The inside track on Washington politics.

What better way to treat the young girls of Afghanistan, from a country we have been killing people in for 15 or so years, by banning them from our country, right?
Bomb and Ban 'em! Smart . . . NOT! Unkind, absolutely!
"
It's not easy to get robotics equipment through customs in Afghanistan, but that didn't deter this plucky bunch.
For months, a team of six teenage girls has been scrambling to build a ball-sorting robot that will compete in an international competition. Other teams received their raw materials in March. But the box sent from America had been held up for months amid concerns about terrorism. So the young engineers improvised, building motorized machines from household materials.
They didn't have time to waste if they were going to compete in the FIRST Global Challenge, an international robotics competition to be held in Washington, D.C., this month. Young teams from around the world face off against each other, in an effort to engage people in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)."
Sad, and cynical. A SPECIAL situation occurs when girls from Afghanistan want to enter the United States, but the State Department could not see it.
"The State Department does not comment on specific visa denials. According to recent State Department records, it's particularly hard to get a business travel visa from Afghanistan. Just 112 were granted in May 2017; 780 visas were issued to visitors from Iraq and 4,067 from Pakistan.
The Afghan girls are not alone. On Tuesday, the leader of a robotics team from the West African nation of Gambia announced that they too had been denied visas to enter the United States. Mucktarr M.Y. Darboe, a Higher Education ministry director, told the Associated Press that no reason was given for the visa denials in April. Gambia is a largely Muslim nation. AP could not immediately reach anyone at the U.S. Embassy in Banjul for comment."
"Afghan girls robotics team will have to watch competition on Skype after being refused US visas" [lol!!!! What an ironic and cynical action.]
REAL terrorists will get past the American "Security" check as they exclude little girls because they will spend time worrying about non-threats. What on earth are the priorities of these Visa granting organizations?
We KNOW there are limited resources conducting Visa reviews and granting Travel Visas so what is the justification of worrying about little girls from Afghanistan? Are we really worried these girls will become terrorists?
Given America's outrage over how women are treated in the Muslim community, one would think this a great opportunity to show our support for Women's/Female Rights, and Human Rights in general.
Tweety is concerned about Human Rights because he banned Cuba, right?
"The six-strong team of girls from Heart [Afghanistan] had their robot selected to compete in the FIRST Global Challenge competition in Washington.
Joe Sestak, a US congressman who is president of the competition, said: "I'm deeply saddened about the Afghan team not getting visas.""
USA like the "Cowardly Lion" in the Wizard of Oz fears every little thing, especially young girls. I thought Tweety liked young girls?
"
Afghanistan is not on the list of six predominantly Muslim countries named in President Donald Trump's temporary travel ban order.
But teams from Iran and Sudan, which are named in the order, were given visas. So was a "Team of Hope" made up of Syrian refugees.
The US State Department approved 112 business visas for Afghan visitors in May, much less than for Syria or Iran, according to latest figures.
The Afghan girls twice visited the US Embassy in Kabul trying to get visas.
Fatemah Qaderyan, 14, a member of the team, said: "We still don't know the reason why we were not granted visas because other countries participating in the competition have been given visas.
"We did our best and we hope that our robot could get a position along other robots from other countries.""
So we think this 14 year old is a threat? Sad. America is not great.
