It doesn't seem to matter if President Trump, or as HE calls himself, "Tariff Man," hurts farmers with tariffs.  It does not matter when President Trump says he grabs pussy because he is a celebrity, or defrauds his workers by not paying them, goes bankrupt, has a night of sex while his wife delivers a baby, or his Trump University defrauds thousands, or he defers to Putin and Russia, and pretends to be "tough" on Russia with measures having no impact on Putin himself, or disrespects a true war hero, a man who is dead, as he is an OBVIOUS draft dodger, or he says the American extremists / terrorists who carry out mass murder (50 dead) in New Zealand, or say "Jews will not replace us!" because he says they are just a small group of very sick people as HE promotes violence in his Rallies, and in TV interviews.  It doesn't matter to his Base.

President Trump lies so much it is clearly pathological, a Snake Oil Salesman.  George Conway said he is sick, Kelly Anne says George is not a doctor.  Nope, George merely sees Trump for what he is, reads his constant sick tweets, and anyone can see Trump is a sick man.  One does not have to be a doctor to see a sick man in the White House.  A sick, fat man is President of the United States.  President Trump's support from his Base, and from the GOP is invincible!

Trying to help farmers?  Not something Democrats understand well.  If I were a farmer I'd think the Democrats are not going to help me.  Even tho Trump's policies hurt farmers, America's farmers have short memories and love Trump's promises.

On April Fools Day, the Democrats running to unseat President Trump look like a joke.

"Five 2020 Democrats took the stage in Iowa. None had answers."

".  .  .  no one really had an answer about what to do to help farm country right now. Net farm income has dropped by half since 2013. Trade disputes and tariffs on products from China, Mexico and Canada have shaved as much as $2 off the price of a bushel of soybeans. The federal checks sent to farmers harmed by the tariffs have been spent. Farm loan delinquencies are at their highest rate in nine years."

The Democratic candidates do not know how to help farmers.

"Questions from the audience and moderators, including me, offered candidates openings to talk about trade. But none took the bait. The Democratic Party remains of two minds on the issue: the Clinton-Obama wing that tends toward freer trade, and the more-protectionist Sanders-Warren wing.

Delaney, a health-care finance entrepreneur, talked about bolstering Medicaid to reduce rural hospital and nursing-home closings by paying the actual cost of patient care, not the typical 80 percent. He suggested expanding federal funding for preschool to include child care, which is in short supply in rural areas."

Trade, Medicaid, rural hospitals, how do the Dems fix these?

"When Storm Lakers Jose Ibarra, who is a member of the city council, and Emilia Marroquin, who sits on the school board, pleaded for immigration reform that embraces refugees and recognizes workforce demands in rural environs, the candidates all jumped to agree. Castro, with strong immigrant roots in Texas, was especially passionate about the need for reform. “The lesson I have is: Don’t wait,” he said, adding, “We are going to take the targets off the backs” of immigrants.

Nearly 3,000 immigrants work in Storm Lake and depend on Tyson Foods for their jobs slaughtering hogs and turkeys. As it happens, Tyson is the only U.S.-based company among the three big meat processors (the other two being in China and Brazil), and the company is on Warren’s shortlist for corporate breakups. Trustbusting can be complicated — how do you make sure workers’ families don’t get hit by flying debris?"

The Dems do not have the power today to get any of the essential immigration issues addressed.  What more will the Dems promise?
