Political monikers Democrat, Republican, Independent, etc., replaced platform views, hurt Democracy

Democracy Died, was destroyed by party labels! Candidates should run on policies, not tribal names.

Political candidates think by saying they are Democrat or Republican or Independent that I will vote for them,  The "Green Party" thinks I will vote for them.
