Temperamental is how I will describe Brett Kavenaugh.  I saw a man who appears to believe he is entitled to the job of Supreme Court Justice.

‘The trauma for a man’: Male fury and fear rises in GOP in defense of Kavanaugh"

"The sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh have sparked a wave of unbridled anger and anxiety from many Republican men, who say they are in danger of being swept up by false accusers who are biased against them."

My core take-away from the sad debacle 27 Sep 2018 in the Ford vs Kavenaugh "piss off" orchestrated by the GOP, is that Kavenaugh is long-winded, deceptive, clever, a bully, belligerent, believable AND unbelievable, lacks a judicial demeanor, capable of legalistic word-smithed "lies," and dispassion, and cannot be trusted with making case holdings that are consistent with the Constitution of the United States and the needs of the American people.

Is it proof of innocence or at least reformed behavior if Brett K. has a perfect record all his adult life?

Lindsay Graham provided an ill advised, ill conceived, and wrong-minded attack on Dems for being deceitful in bringing the charge of sexual assault forward so late in the process of confirming Kavenaugh.  He got no point or sympathy from me given all the ugliness provided by the GOP.

"HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO BRETT KAVANAUGH?"  [The all CAPs title is used intentionally to simulate Lindsay Graham yelling . . . ]

"HOW DARE YOU?!
HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO BRETT KAVANAUGH?
HOW DARE YOU DENY HIM THIS SEAT?!

Listen, NO, YOU listen!
Do you know who Brett Kavanaugh is? Brett Kavanaugh went to Georgetown Prep!
BRETT KAVANAUGH IS AN OPTIMIST WHO LOOKS ON THE SUNSHINE SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN!
BRETT KAVANAUGH IS NOT YELLING!
YOU’RE YELLING!

If Brett does not secure a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court, this country will be IN SHAMBLES! THIS IS HIS BIRTHRIGHT! Do you know how embarrassing it is for a Georgetown Prep graduate to NOT be on the Supreme Court? They are literally 12 PERCENT of the court! THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST INDIGNITY YOU CAN INFLICT ON A HUMAN BEING!"

Due process?  Yep!  Let's go to the basics - due process!  Will Brett agree to an FBI investigation?  Nope.

"This is OPPRESSION! TO BE DENIED POWER OVER OTHERS! IF THAT IS NOT WHAT IT IS, DO NOT TELL ME.

He should be given exactly as much benefit of the doubt as we would not give a black man shot in his own apartment by police. HE DESERVES IT! IT IS HIS BIRTHRIGHT. HE WENT TO GEORGETOWN PREP."

Alexandra sees Lindsay's pompous angry outburst sent a message to all women and men of America, a message of white man, elitist entitlement, and, sadly, blind misogyny.  Lindsay was wrong in every way, despite the Dems dirty tricks and his own GOP weaselly behaviors.

"Lindsey Graham’s meltdown gives away the GOP game on Kavanaugh"

" .  .  .  what they [the GOP] did not count on was that Ford’s performance might have a force all its own, independent of whatever Republicans did or did not do to frame the day’s events. In this sense, Graham — and Republicans — really were ambushed. No wonder Graham is so ticked off."

"Ford’s testimony was devastating. Kavanaugh’s was volcanic."

Lindsay Graham got it backwards saying the precedent set by this scrutiny will be the end of good people applying for the job!  THE OPPOSITE IS !,000% MORE LIKELY!

Lindsay Graham needs to know, should know, the ONLY impact will be that ONLY GOOD people need apply.  Lindsay, ONLY GOOD PEOPLE NEED APPLY!

Lindsay, ONLY GOOD PEOPLE NEED APPLY FOR SUPREME COURT LIFE-TIME JOBS!

In the mean time, change the life-time appointments!  Limit Supreme Court tenures to no more than 10 years.

"The Ford-Kavanaugh Hearings Will Be Remembered as a Grotesque Display of Patriarchal Resentment"

"There was, in this performance, not even a hint of the sagacity one expects from a potential Supreme Court Justice. More than presenting a convincing rebuttal to Ford’s extremely credible account, Kavanaugh—and Hatch, and Lindsey Graham—seemed to be exterminating, live, for an American audience, the faint notion that a massively successful white man could have his birthright questioned or his character held to the most basic type of scrutiny."

Sad state of misogyny - these old, white men cannot see how ugly their attitudes are.  They are blind to their misogyny.  Orin Hatch says Ford was "pleasing!"

"Brett Kavanaugh’s Damaging, Revealing Partisan Bitterness"

"If there is a red flag here, it is not only Kavanaugh’s failure to maintain composure during a tense and extraordinary hearing. It is, rather, the risk that the process itself, which Democrats and Republicans seem to agree has been a disaster, has been so damaging to Kavanaugh’s psyche that partisan bitterness and rage will shape his temperament and his orientation to judicial work for a lifetime. "
