Are you ready for WWIII Tweety supporters? Tweety opens the door to Syria to gas innocent people, then Israel attacks Syria, Tweety threatens Russia, Russia threatens Tweety. If US bombs Syria with any hope of success the US military needs to go in hard. Russia might attack Israel or simply respond directly against US forces.
NATO gets involved as soon as Russia attacks the US military. THAT is WWIII to some extent. We can only hope the US/NATO versus Russia battle would be short lived, and NOT escalate to WWIII.
Tweety says we will leave Syria, let someone else take care of "that." He emboldened Assad and Russia to use gas on Syrians, committing war crimes.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Tweety said he was smarter than the Generals. The Generals told Tweety there still a lot to do to save Syria and kill ISIS.
After the gas, Tweety threatens "a big price to pay." Tweety is making empty threats, or expressing disastrous stupidity, or both. He says he wants proof of the gas attack in 12 hours?! Impossible and stupid!

In words, at least, the West is on the right side of history. On Sunday, President Trump tweeted furiously about an “atrocity” that he called “mindless” and “sick.” He lashed out at Russian President Vladimir Putin—with rare specificity—and at Iran for supporting “Animal Assad,” the Syrian President. Trump even blamed former President Obama for not doing more after he imposed a “red line” on Syria’s use of chemical weapons, in 2012.
Trump, putting his Administration in a similar position, warned that there will be a “big price to pay” for the attack. European governments and human-rights groups followed suit, and nine of the fifteen members of the U.N. Security Council called for an urgent meeting. But, for the U.S., there are few targets in Syria that Russia and Iran could not rebuild with their much more sizable presence in the country. After Trump’s cruise-missile attack on a Syrian air base, last spring, the local governor announced that the damage had been repaired and flights had resumed several days after the strike."

Those who don’t learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them. That’s what the United States keeps doing in Syria.
In 1950, Secretary of State Dean Acheson gave a speech implying that the Korean Peninsula was outside of the core defense perimeter of the United States. Though not intended, this sent a signal that America was abandoning South Korea. That helped provoke a war with fallout we're still managing today.
Barack Obama made one of the gravest blunders of his presidency when he declared in 2012 that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad using chemical weapons against civilians would cross a “red line” and bring “enormous consequences.” When hundreds were killed by a gas attack the next year, he planned to launch missiles but blinked when the Brits balked. After Obama punted the decision to a Congress that dithered, an emboldened Assad escalated his barbaric campaign against his own people.
A year ago, President Trump’s new administration announced that removing Assad from power was no longer a priority of the United States government. Soon afterward, the man known as “the Butcher of Damascus” launched a sarin attack that killed more than 80 Syrians. Seeing gruesome images of murdered children prompted Trump to order airstrikes on the airfield that had been used by planes that dropped the gas."
