Nunes in fact was part of the effort to find "dirt" on Biden in Ukraine, so whether he recognize this was an abuse and wrong, seeking help by a shake down from Ukraine (a foreign government) to help Tweety trump with his personal election campaign in 2020, or not, the fact Nunes got involved is real and it is EVIDENCE.

Given Nunes record on investigations of Tweety Trump behaviors, why would anyone trust his involvement in ANY investigation of Tweety?  How can Schiff trust Nunes?

This is a biased source BUT it is not a biased report.  Nunes did not answer the question, and the answer is documents as "Yes."  Nunes took documents to the White House to work with Tweety as the investigation of Tweety's involvement with Russia during the lection campaign was substantive or not.

"Controversy on ["over"? word choice? Anywya, Nunes got discovered.] phone records intensifies amid impeachment"
By Scott Wong and Juliegrace Brufke - 12/10/19 06:00 AM EST

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/473769-controversy-on-phone-records-intensifies-amid-impeachment

"House Republicans are escalating their feud with Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff accusing the California Democrat of carrying out a “smear campaign” against his GOP counterpart, Rep. Devin Nunes by publishing his phone records in the panel’s sweeping impeachment report.

Collecting the phone data has been strongly defended by Democrats while Republicans have seized on the new controversy as unfair and a bad precedent."

Why is this a concern for the GOP?  Is it possible Nunes was part of the gang seeking dirt on Biden from Ukraine?

"Schiff’s report detailed that Nunes had multiple communications with key figures in the House impeachment inquiry: Rudy Giuliani Rudy Trump’s personal lawyer, as well as with Giuliani’s Soviet-born associate Lev Parnas, who has been indicted on campaign finance charges. The records also show Giuliani was in communication with conservative opinion columnist John Solomon, who previously worked for The Hill.

The phone logs indicate Nunes and Giuliani spoke briefly three times and texted once on April 10. It also shows numerous attempts at contact between Parnas and Nunes on April 12, including an eight-minute phone call.

The metadata — which only show phone numbers and durations of calls, not the substance of the calls or texts — raises serious questions about why Nunes was in frequent contact, at conspicuous times, with individuals who were part of a shadow campaign to pressure Ukraine to investigate one of Trump’s key political rivals, former Vice President Joe Biden

It’s “deeply concerning that at a time when the president of the United States was using the power of his office to dig up dirt on a political rival,” Schiff said recently, “that there may be evidence that there were members of Congress complicit in that activity.”"

Why is the GOP upset this is being included in an impeachment process that is looking at these precise dealings?  The GOP wants anonymity in an impeachment case?  This is not the Mueller Report.

"House Democrats, including Schiff, have said it is standard procedure for investigators to seek phone records and suggested GOP lawmakers are pandering to their base in a public relations effort. Some have speculated that the phone records of Giuliani and Parnas were subpoenaed, and those records showed contact with Nunes and Solomon.

Collins and other Republicans said they had no issue with the Intelligence panel issuing subpoenas to mobile-phone carriers or writing its report. But they thought it was inappropriate to reveal the names of individuals swept up in the call logs who are not the target of a criminal investigation. Collins said the report should have referred to Nunes anonymously as “Congressperson 1.”

Come on man!  Nunes sat at the impeachment table so he has to be willing to explain any role he had in digging up dirt on Biden and working with Giuliani in Ukraine.  Is there an innocent explanation?  Shouldn't America know if one of the strong GOP leaders defending Tweety Trump was part of Tweety Trump's effort to abuse the power of the Presidency?

This is another of what now must be thousands of bogus claims, and here is another GOP member contradicting what the other GOP member just said . . .  They can't get their excuses straight they are throwing them out so fast!

Note, the first GOP guy said it was OK, it's normal to collect numbers.  The second GOP guy wants you to believe collecting the numbers was wrong, and it now it is dangerous because Schiff can do this for anybody?  Is "anybody" [everybody] being impeached?  These GOP guys must think we are idiots.

"Another Judiciary Committee member, Rep. Tom McClintock Thomas told The Hill: “I think it’s disgraceful, it’s appalling, it ought to frighten the hell out of every American. If he can do that to Devin Nunes, he can do that to anybody he doesn’t like.”

Come on man.  I am not that stupid and I am not being impeached and I am not the President or Nunes!

Here's anther winging it statement by the third GOP guy.  Keep trying guys, you might find an acorn, like a blind squirrel does occasionally.

"Minority Whip Steve Scalise, the No. 2 Republican in House leadership, went as far as suggesting Schiff was “spying” on members of Congress and the press and questioned why the records weren’t raised during any of the televised Intelligence hearings last month."

Tweety Trump, Barr, now Scalise like to call "SPYING" when they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar.  Shame on them all!

How did Nunes feel?  Did he explain his Ukraine visit?  Did he explain his calls?  Nope.

"Nunes spoke about his disapproval of the move during a private GOP conference meeting Friday, according to a Republican aide.

“I think a lot of members were really sort of ginned up or fired up about how egregious this kind of abuse of power would be from Adam Schiff to obtain and publicize the phone record of one of his colleagues, of members of the press, how unprecedented it is,” the aide said. “It’s definitely something our members are fired up about.”

While the phone records have sparked new life into the GOP’s attacks on Schiff, Nunes’s answers on his interactions with Parnas have also drawn questions from his critics."

Nunes has no good answer, yet.  Give him a week or a month, the GOP will come up with some talking points for him.  That's how they roll.

It seems like Nunes sent his GOP guys to defend him.  Too bad they were all over the map, confused, garbled, conflicting, literally throwing so many bits of s**t against the wall in hopes of something sticking, disparate criticisms, the collective "set" of complaints come out more excuses than defenses.

The GOP is using DARVO on steroids!

"Definition of DARVO
DARVO refers to a reaction perpetrators of wrong doing, particularly sexual offenders [Fits Tweety perfectly!], may display in response to being held accountable for their behavior. DARVO stands for "Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender." The perpetrator or offender may Deny the behavior, Attack the individual doing the confronting, and Reverse the roles of Victim and Offender such that the perpetrator assumes the victim role and turns the true victim -- or the whistle blower -- into an alleged offender. This occurs, for instance, when an actually guilty perpetrator assumes the role of "falsely accused" and attacks the accuser's credibility and blames the accuser of being the perpetrator of a false accusation.""

Interesting, eh?
