What Would Jesus Do?  WWJD?

My "Christian" friend who hates gays, thinks they people choose to be gay, just like they chose their hetero attractions, look in the mirror of your dumbest friend.  Your single to three Bible verses you cite and use to hate gays, are more than met by Bible verses that tell you to get yourself back to God, a real God.

What Would Jesus Do? (WWJD?) should be every Christians firs thought.  It's not.

I "see" (as in poker game) gay haters, fake Christians, and liars using Cor. 6-9 & 10 and call BS! with John 8:7-11, Hebrews 13:1-5, James 4:12, Galatians 5:14, and there are many more verses that tell me not to hate or mistreat gays, or any fellow human of any sort for that matter.  Love is all powerful, and nothng in the Bible says a person cannot love their partner.

"Bible Verses about Homosexuality"

Having little sisters hit their brother with the Bible because he is gay, never thinking What Would Jesus Do (WWJD)?  These are conversion therapy examples.  Conversion therapy is insanity, cruelty, torture, weaponizing fake "Christian" beliefs when the real problem is fear, anxiety, failure, and simple stupidity.

Weaponizing the Bible is simply ignoring the truth and failing to understand your own Bible.

"Does Religion Condemn Homosexuality?"

By Michael Bronski New Books, Sexuality/Gender           October 1, 2013

http://religiondispatches.org/does-religion-condemn-homosexuality/

"eligions are richly variable in their organizations, belief systems, rituals, and practices. This is true across cultures and history. Grand statements about what “all religions” say or believe about anything—especially about such a complex phenomenon as human desire and sexuality—are not just unhelpful, they’re impossible. Nonetheless, this has not prevented many Christian opponents of homosexuality from asserting that all religions condemn homosexuality. This assertion is patently false; it is not even the case that all Christianities condemn homosexuality. The myth that all religions condemn homosexuality passes off one strand of Christian interpretation as a universal moral claim about what “all religions” and “all religious people” believe. In fact, what religions have to say about homosexuality varies considerably not just among religions, but within religions, too."

"The Bible does not condemn “homosexuality.” Seriously, it doesn’t."

"The word “homosexuality” didn’t even show up in English translations of the Bible until 1946, so why do we say the Bible condemns it?"

"Billy Graham’s son is terrified that President Obama and a whole host of us have chucked out our Bibles in order to support marriage equality. This week he was at it again on Facebook, railing against “the assault on biblical marriage,” referencing California lawmakers who want to amend federal law by striking gendered language pertaining to two partners in a legal marriage. Franklin, son of Billy, even goes on to make the Biblically inaccurate comment that “The One who created marriage defined it as between a man and a woman.” I wish he would read my post on this and then re-read the Bible.

Brother Franklin, even thinks that President Obama should invest in more lightning rods in case God strikes the White House in fiery wrath.

This is laughable if it weren’t so powerfully sad. Here’s the thing, Franklin: you need to read your Bible better. The sooner you do, the more and better work you can do in Africa and elsewhere with Samaritan’s Purse. We need your time focused not only on poverty but in addressing America’s original sin of racism. We need all you got for those fights. It’s time to end the culture wars and fully focus on the war against poverty, racism and injustice in our world."

Bible verse cherry picking leads to psychological cruelty in the name of God, and suicides due to torture.

How a gay son can be more Christian than his father preacher. . . .His father, the preacher, reads the Bible, but has no understanding of true love and Christianity.

God and the morality and ethics of gay conversion . . . a sad chronicle of stupidity, hate, and anger.

Garrad Conley - the movie, Erased Boy.  Kidman and Crowe - see it.
