The Tweety government thinks they can make demands on other sovereign nations and they consider their acts legal?

The approach by Tweety is regime change and is likely to give extremists in Iran all they need to take power and be MORE aggressive in the region.  My guess is that Iranian people will see the American demands as repugnant, even for the moderate Iranians, and will NOT DO AS "ORDERED."  Government do not demand or order people around like they are puppets.

"The Trump Administration Calls on Iranians to “Make a Choice About Their Leadership”"

"In a speech on Monday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared that the United States will “crush” Iran with a new package of economic, diplomatic, military, and cyber pressures if it does not accept sweeping changes to its policies at home and abroad. The new U.S. policy laid out a dozen new demands that put the Trump Administration on a collision course with the Iranian government—and falls rhetorically short only of supporting an uprising by the Iranian people. “At the end of the day, the Iranian people will decide the timeline,” Pompeo said, when asked how the new policy would play out. “At the end of the day, the Iranian people will get to make a choice about their leadership. I"

And this "diplomacy" went even further . . .  we'll see if being the bully on the black, the classic "Ugly American" is the right way to go.

"The Trump Administration will more aggressively confront Iranian operatives and their allies in Lebanon’s Hezbollah operating around the world, Pompeo vowed. The Islamic Republic “will never again have carte blanche to dominate the Middle East.” A new package of sanctions, still to be unveilled, will impose “unprecedented financial pressures”—the strongest in history—on Tehran, Pompeo said, at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in Washington. Iran “should know that this is just the beginning.”"

Oh, boy, the carrot was so nice after the whipping!  NOT!  What people of any country wants to kiss Tweety's ass for the sake of a slavery they will never overcome?  Tweety thinks his bullying tactics against the entire world will win.  I think it is a loser strategy, and in his world of win-lose, America will end up on the short end of the stick.

"The Administration did hold out the option of full diplomatic and commercial reconciliation with the Islamic Republic—if it agreed to all twelve demands for “tangible, demonstrated, and sustained shifts” in policies. "

Iran must agree to all 12 demands, DEMANDS!  What a sick and ill-advised statement!  Here is a government, Tweety's government, that has betrayed promises established government to government already in a number of cases, in every way, so why would Iran trust him in any agreement, why expect Tweety to keep any promise to a foreign country?  Tweety only keeps promises to his base, so all Iran has to do is go read his promises to his base about what he was going to do to Iran and THAT might be the promise he keeps.

Irans' answer was smart and logical, let us see what the more mature countries say about the deal we made with them.

"In Tehran, the foreign minister replied to Pompeo’s speech on Twitter. “US diplomacy sham is merely a regression to old habits: imprisoned by delusions & failed policies,” he wrote, adding that Tehran was working with the five other countries that signed the 2015 nuclear accord in order to save it. But the challenges that the accord faces have grown since Trump withdrew the United States, on May 8th. Pessimism among the remaining signatories regarding its long-term fate is growing as well. The British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, said the U.S. plan for a “new jumbo Iran negotiation, a new treaty” is “very difficult” to achieve “in anything like a reasonable timescale.” "

Time will tell if Tweety wants world unity or move division for the sake of his political ambitions.  Will Tweety sanction our allies for working with Iran?
