The Wall Street Journal, Rich Lowry in NationalReview.com, and many others joined in Trump's praise for predicting the rush of immigrants from the caravan, the invasion is real! NO IT IS NOT!
THEY ALL GOT IT WRONG! Trump aided this crime! Jennifer Rubin got it right in the Washington Post. The Trump administration and especially Trump set up all the necessary forces, pumping up fears that are fake, to create panic on the border!
Mexico aided this crime.

"In April, CBP announced it was restarting a policy of "metering" asylum seekers at the border, or allowing migrants into the USA only if there is sufficient room in holding facilities on the U.S. side, according to CBP reports.
That technique, used on and off again since 2016, created a backlog of migrants at the Tijuana-U.S. border that, coupled with confusion about U.S. immigration law and other factors, contributed to Sunday's widely televised brush with U.S. border agents.
"What happened (Sunday) was a wake-up call," said Alex Mensing, an advocate for immigrants with Pueblo Sin Fronteras who has been staying with the migrants. "There needs to be a better solution than waiting in a muddy, cold camp while the U.S. decides who it can accept for asylum proceedings.""
This is a nice way to say we played the immigrants!
The truth is America is using immigrants as political human shields for a sick and sad agenda of a sociopath President. We forced migrants into desperation to make them panic!
If America truly wanted to solve the problem, we would
1. send 5,000 Asylum Officers and appropriate numbers of judges to the border, not 5,000 troops,
2. we would triple aid to countries where these immigrants need to escape, or provide at least as much aid as we give Saudi Arabia to murder 85,000 children in Yemen or spend trying to find ghosts in Afghanistan,
3. admit and be truthful with the American people (Evangelicals, this includes YOU!) that the illegal immigrant is not a security issue, or a criminal / crime issue since, as any imbecile would recognize if they were not so pig headed stubborn, ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AVOID ALL ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AND COMMIT LESS (LESS!!) CRIME - illegal immigrants who commit crimes are deported, and 99% of illegals do not want to be deported,
4. admit and be truthful with the American public that illegal immigrants are not nearly the burden on the USA that false tribal arguments say they are since they work, make money, PAY TAXES, buy goods and services, and CONTRIBUTE to our economy; in an accounting sense the books are likely in balance; illegal immigrants contributions probably outweighs the welfare some illegals need; BTW, welfare draws attention to illegals too, as crime does, so they want to avoid welfare as much as you tribal ass holes do,
5. engage Mexico which MUST contribute to solving the immigrant caravans problem as these immigrants pass thru Mexico; demand Mexico cooperation, and, finally,
"Mexico Once Saw Migration as a U.S. Problem. Now It Needs Answers of Its Own."

6. Congress must write and agree to the damn BIPARTISAN immigrant legislation demanded to end all the petty arguments that have been delaying appropriate updates for 20 years, and get it done NOW!
A caravan of immigrants and refugees arrived at the border after MONTHS of travel, so everyone knew they were coming. Too Little was done to prepare in the months of their travels, the Mexican federal police closed in on the desperate migrants running out of food and water, the tent city providing no options, so 500 people were crushed between police and the US Border Patrol. What did the "officials" expect would happen!? Exactly what happened is what they WANTED, and what they made happen!
