GOP and Tweety Trump Gaslighting a Constitutional process is making me cra. Can't the GOP talk in rational terms? This is about a Congressional duty, A DUTY, NOT A VENDETTA, where the House of Representatives are required to act when they see reason to protect the voting process of our Democracy and our Republic.
The GOP duty is to properly oppose the view with evidence and facts. In stead of approaching the Impeachment Inquiry as the process it is like adult politicians, as duly elected, respectful of our Constitution Congressmen, based on their sworn oath of office, the GOP throws one emotional, silly, at times, rhetorical excuse after another, up to 24 in one count, for Tweety Fat Bastard Trump's Ukraine shake-down. The GOP cannot, have not, will not disprove the Tweety shake-down of Ukraine was not an abuse of power, cannot prove a foreign power was asked to help Tweety win an election in 2020, so they act like Mean Girls.
I'm aghast!
"Read House Republicans' response to impeachment report"
By Josie Hollingsworth on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019
House Republicans issued a response to a Democrat-led impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump. The GOP's 123-page report says Democrats have not proven "evidence of bribery, extortion, or any high crime or misdemeanor."
The synopsis above does little to highlight the evidence or facts proving that ll three did occur: bribery, extortion, or any high crime or misdemeanor. One does not prove "evidence," rather the evidence is evidence or not evidence. One proves extortion, which is exactly what Tweety Fat Bastard Trump did. High crime or misdemeanor is not a term of precision, rather a term to be interpreted after the act.
The better approach would be not to deny reality, but to argue the reality does not threaten our Democracy and Tweety Trump cannot be impeached by what he did, that his actions proven by facts and evidence, do not rise to a level for impeachment.
Does the GOP prove what Tweety did was not an impeachable offense in legal terms, with rational thought? Maybe.

"House Republicans have released their report on the impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
The release of the report from Republicans on the House Intelligence, Oversight and Foreign Affairs committees comes after more than a dozen witnesses testified both behind closed doors and in public hearings over nearly two months. The panel's Democratic majority has not yet released its own report on the inquiry.
Republicans have argued that the entire impeachment inquiry, overseen by Rep. Adam Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, was unfair and did not provide Trump or his legal team the opportunity to respond to allegations. [The possibly the worst the GOP could offer as Tweety Trump personally directed key witnesses to NOT testify in the hearing, making it obvious he had NO defense for his actions, and likely these witnesses would incriminate him.] Trump himself has labeled the inquiry a sham.
Democrats say the inquiry was held to determine if Trump had sought a political favor from the newly elected Ukrainian president — an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden [A rival in the 2020 election] and his son, Hunter — in exchange for a White House visit and the release of defense aid. The president has denied that any such link was made. [The evidence and facts prove the link between Tweety Trump's shake-dwon of Ukraine for dirt on Biden.]
The Republican report reiterates the claim that Ukrainian officials tried to meddle in the 2016 presidential election. [The GOP says this based on some evidence Ukraine leaders, some, how many, whom, preferred to work with Hillary Clinton as President. So? There was no electronic deceit gong on by Ukraine.] U.S. intelligence agencies have previously dismissed that claim — instead noting that it was Russia that interfered in the process."

A report from the Democratic majority on the House Intelligence Committee is expected to be approved by vote Tuesday
By NBC News
"House Republicans issued a 123-page minority report Monday arguing that Democrats, after weeks of closed door depositions and public hearings from a number of former and current administration officials, failed to establish any impeachable offenses by President Donald Trump.
The GOP wants to say the Dems want to undue the 2016 election, or Biden did something corrupt in Ukraine. The idea Biden did anything other than his job is a debunked CONSPIRACY THEORY. This conspiracy theory, and that is all it is to this date, a theory, has NO SUBSTANTIVE SUPPORT.
The FACTS AND EVIDENCE PROVE CONVINCINGLY THAT BIDEN WAS doing his White House job.
The GOP defenses and argument are not rational, rather they are very emotional and vapid. There have been some odd 24 excuses raised to "defend" and / or explain Tweety Trump's Ukraine call. WTF!
"GOP tries to connect dots on Biden and Ukraine, but comes up short"
By Glenn Kessler The Fact Checker Dec 4 2019
"President Trump has falsely claimed that then-Vice President Joe Biden pressured the Ukrainian government to fire Shokin, the top Ukrainian prosecutor, because he was investigating Ukraine’s largest private gas company, Burisma, at a time when Hunter Biden was on the Burisma board. In fact, the opposite is true — Joe Biden was carrying out administration policy, coordinated with European allies, to press for the removal of Shokin because he was not investigating corruption.
These facts have not stopped Trump’s Republican defenders from trying to prove Trump correct."
More.
"The Fact Checker was suspicious of these claims because it had been our understanding that the investigation of Zlochevsky was largely dormant at the time of Biden’s diplomacy. Indeed, the U.S. ambassador at the time had singled out mismanagement of the Zlochevsky case as an example of Ukraine’s failing to hold corrupt officials to account.
Working with our colleagues Michael Birnbaum and David L. Stern, who discussed the case with sources while reporting in Kyiv, we’ve determined that this alleged connection is based on a misunderstanding of what took place in the Ukrainian courts.
The Facts
Zlochevsky had served in top Ukrainian government positions in the country’s energy sector and had transformed himself into one of the country’s richest men. In the process, he has faced years of legal troubles and allegations of corruption, which he has denied. Britain once froze $23 million of his assets, but he was not charged with any crimes and the freeze was eventually lifted."
While the facts are tedious they show Biden was doing his job, and the GOP and Giuliani recruited John Solomon working for The Hill to write articles creating the conspiracy theory that now haunts the GOP excuses to Tweety Trump's corruption.
The bottom line is that the only way to prove the conspiracy is to lie.
"The Pinocchio Test
Republicans are clearly trying to connect some dots to give an impression of malfeasance by Biden. But they are looking at the wrong dots. Nothing significant appears to have happened in February 2016 except primarily the reinstatement of a previous court order. Instead, Zlochevsky’s assets had been seized a year earlier and were only briefly not under a court order because of a prosecutorial error.
In other words, there would have been no reason for Biden to raise the supposed raid of Zlochevsky’s home in his phone calls. Moreover, as we’ve shown, Biden’s aides at the time say that neither Burisma nor Zlochevsky was raised in the calls.
Graham and Nunes earn Four Pinocchios."
I can only find one reason for Lindsay Graham and Nunes to go this far to help prove a false narrative. They are, and the GOP is, purposefully complicit in Tweety Trump's abuse of power. These people have become outright criminals, and if Tweety were to judge them objectively, he would call them traitors, unpatriotic, and sick.
It is obvious to me the GOP is sensing "blood in the water" as a shark would, but the "blood" is money and power.
These destructive pols seek to RIDE Tweety Fat Bastard Trump's COAT-TAILS INTO THEIR OWN FORMS OF CORRUPT BEHAVIOR AND ABUSE OF POWER.
THE GOP IS COMPLICT IN CRIMES AGAINST OUR DEMOCRACY.
Tweety is especially belligerent attacking Congressmen on a sick personal level. The GOP supports Tweety every step of the way. Jim Jordan, Nunes, McConnell, Lindsay Graham, Gaez, Kennedy, Kevin in the House, and a few other vocal GOP Tweety abettors are leading the GOP lambs to slaughter, and a life of crime.
Read at how Tweety, therefore the GOP, address the impeachment like Mean Girls.
"Trump unloads on ‘maniac’ Adam Schiff on overseas trip: ‘He’s a deranged human being’
By Adam Shaw 3 Dec 2019
"President Trump tore into Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., in harsh terms on Tuesday, taking a moment from his overseas tour in London to call the House Intelligence Committee chairman a “maniac” and a “deranged human being” over his handling of the impeachment inquiry.
Trump was speaking to reporters alongside Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the sidelines of a NATO summit, when he was asked what he would hope to learn from having Schiff testify in a possible Senate impeachment trial -- a scenario some Republicans would like to see.
“I learn nothing from Adam Schiff, I think he’s a maniac,” Trump said. “I think Adam Schiff is a deranged human being. I think he grew up with a complex for lots of reasons that are obvious. I think he’s a very sick man, and he lies.”
The comments demonstrated how the impeachment fight has followed Trump even as he meets with world leaders in London on issues ranging from defense spending to ISIS. Trump focused Tuesday on a controversial move by Schiff in September, where he read out a hyperbolic account of Trump’s controversial July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“I have a favor I want from you,” Schiff said in a hearing while appearing to read from a piece of paper. “And I’m going to say this only seven times, so you better listen good. I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? Lots of it, on this and on that.”
Schiff later chalked up his fictional summary of the phone call to a joke as he came under fire from conservatives for making up quotes.
“My summary of the president’s call was meant to be at least, part, in parody," Schiff said. "The fact that that’s not clear is a separate problem in and of itself. Of course, the president never said, ‘If you don’t understand me I’m going to say it seven more times.' My point is, that’s the message that the Ukraine president was receiving in not so many words."
Trump has repeatedly criticized Schiff for the move."
Not surprisingly, Tweety trump would lock up Schiff if he could. "Lock everyone up!" is Tweety's wish.
Me too, but the stunt by Schiff, ya it was stupid, does not make the evidence and facts of Tweety Trump's impeachable offense go away.
Who is the sick person, who is the maniac, who should be locked up in jail.
Mitch McConnel has chosen to do no work on Tweety's behalf! Mitch is holding all House of Representatives legislation, a LOT of Bills, on his desk without Senate hearings.
Mitch McConnel has determined NO Democrat will be allowed into the Senate Hearing to indict the President. Can you spell HYPOCRISY? The GOP went crazy about the "closed" impeachment hearings, where, by the way, a number of Republicans were IN THE ROOM!
I can not take sides, be silent, as the Constitutionally REQUIRED impeachment process unfolds, and the United States election PROCESS is being attacked by our President.
Our country and our Democracy is at risk. Our future as a Republic is at stake. The President is running amok.
I see one "side" arguing facts and details of a suspicious use of Presidential power of likely personal gain. I see the GOP not giving the evidence and facts one ounce of concern. The GOP is Gaslighting us!
The President withheld appropriated funds from Ukraine to "get dirt" on a political rival, in the name of sorting our "corruption?"
How can the GOP reduce their argument and defense of Tweety Trump's Ukraine call, and all the surrounding Rudy work, to epithets and emotional words hoping to defeat the facts and evidence?
I don't understand these otherwise intelligent adults acting like Mean Girls.
