The picture above is Tweety signing an Extreme Vetting EO. It already takes 24 months of vetting to get into the USA and you know nothing will change in the 24 months just because Tweety signs a piece of paper.
It is all a boomerang for the White House and AG Jeff Sessions - everything they do is the opposite of what they need to do to improve security and safety of anyone in the Unites States. Tweety and Jeff are VERY uniformed.
"EXECUTIVE ORDER: PROTECTING THE NATION FROM FOREIGN TERRORIST ENTRY INTO THE UNITED STATES" - 27 Jan 2017
Even Tweety's EO on "extreme vetting" is NOT going to make America more safe. What Tweety is not paying attention ot, does not understand or comprehend, is that many terrorists will come from inside the borders of the United States as USA citizens are SELF-RADICALIZED. SELF-RADICALIZED CITIZENS.
And worse, Tweety is no doubt accelerating the self-radicalization of American Muslims, and even turning non-Muslim to join the Nation of Islam, then to and radicalization, with his own words and behaviors supposedly intended to make America more safe. Tweety's not so stable mind is creating an UNSAFE America.
"Trump Travel Ban Makes America Less Safe: Ex-Top Security, State Officials"
by Andrea Mitchell and Richie Duchon, 6 Feb 2

"President Trump's executive order curtailing immigration "could do long-term damage" to the United States' national security and foreign policy interests, endangering troops and intelligence agents and disrupting efforts to prevent terror attacks, 10 former senior U.S. diplomats and security officials asserted Monday in a court document. The affidavit, written jointly by two former secretaries of state, two former heads of the CIA, a former secretary of defense, a former secretary of homeland security, and senior officials of the National Security Council, slammed Trump's order as "ill-conceived, poorly implemented and ill-explained.""
More . . . .
"The filing [of the affidavit] is notable not because of the novelty of the former intelligence officials' arguments, but because they give the case against Trump's entry ban a national security credential that many of its other opponents cannot. "
Ultimately the worst element in the Tweety Travel Ban is an effort to intimidate, at best, declare war, at worst, the 1.6 billion Muslims on planet Earth. Tweety is helping ISIS, not hurting ISIS. Tweety is adding recruits to iSIS every day he shouts about Muslims.
"The former officials argue the entry ban, if allowed to continue, would compromise U.S. national security by immediately placing American troops fighting alongside soldiers from the affected countries in harm's way. Further, they say, the order would make key countries critical to obtaining intelligence needed to fight ISIS and other terror groups reluctant to share that information.
Because of the order's "disparate" effect on Muslim travelers seeking to enter the U.S., the authors write that the entry ban effectively acts as propaganda for extremist groups like ISIS, by sending the message to Muslims "that the U.S. government is at war with them based on their religion.""

People living in fear of detainment and deportation fleeing across the northern border to Canada at an increased rate.

"Manchester, New Hampshire, US - Refugees in fear of detainment and deportation are fleeing the US across its northern border with Canada at an increased rate even as courts block the Trump administration’s travel ban, according to refugee support groups and the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA)."
Tweety solutions to threats from our enemies are what one would expect from a "dumb hick" who shoots from the hip and is, basically, racist and stupid. Tweety solutions to security threats are not the wisdom of Solomon.

"No proof ISIS leaders using Donald Trump's travel ban for recruitment"
By Miriam Valverde on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 at 2:10 p.m.
Or maybe . . . so what are we to believe? What does logic and connecting the dots tell you if you are a Muslim, a member of ISIS, and the most powerful man in the world declares he is afraid of you . . . . at least for 120 days.
What do people think?
"Trump's Travel Ban Will Not 'Help' ISIS Recruitment"
The trope posits an overly simplistic understanding of jihadist radicalization, and demeans Muslims in general. [Really? What is hard to figure Mr. Cottee?]
Simon Cottee

"Far from “gifting” ISIS, what the ban has in fact given it is a poisoned chalice. In America, it has generated a raft of critical commentary from leading politicians, and it has provoked a wave of vociferous protests in major cities that has brought Muslims and non-Muslims together in solidarity. What the ban has done, paradoxically, is solidify the gray zone against which ISIS is fighting. It has revealed not a satanic American face but a pacific and liberal one."
This, in my opinion, is an extremely naïve assessment of how America has suddenly proven itself pacifist and peaceful and brought Americans together in unity. While the writing is classy, Cottee is laughable in his words. Does Cottee really think ISIS is going to see and use those elements of peace and unity, rather than the history of America which is NOT PEACE AND UNITY.
ISIS will use the Travel Ban successfully to recruit based on America's history of bombing Muslims Your logic is wrong, my friend, confused, and forgetful of what America has done to Muslims all over the world.
Cottee applies his highly intellectual and complex reasoning to argue the Travel Ban "trope" he calls it, that helps ISIS recruit, but he fails to use his common sense as well. Of course ISIS is using the Travel ban to recruit, but it is even worse than that. Using Cottee's own logic, Muslim Americans who live in fear of Tweety "Brown Shirts" and secret police monitoring them for detention camps, American Muslims will self-radicalize to protect themselves.
"ISIS is reportedly calling Trump's travel ban 'the blessed ban'"

Of course it is hard to show ISIS is using the Travel Ban to recruit Muslims into their ranks.
You see, the data proves Sanctuary Cities are safer than non-Sanctuary Cities.
What is the national security threat that can be avoided in 90-120 days?

Americans who think the Travel Ban provides any support for USA national security, tell me how. Please.
The AG and White House want to dismantle Sanctuary cities which have a proven record of improving safety in cities.
The White House wants to spend billions on a Wall on a border for three states, adding MAYBE some security from immigrants, but never intended to block terrorists.
The AG is not supporting "Consent Decrees" that would improve safety in major cities by seeking to reform bad policy in police "serve and protect" situations, where police end up with a dead person on their hans or in their jails.
The White House asks for more money for Dod "hard power" while cutting funds where needed most for "soft power" in the State Department.
It does not look like the White House or the AG understand how to protect our country or help our cities be safe.
The White House and the Attorney General are doing the opposite, it seems, in every case where national security and safety in our cities is an issue.
The White House and the AG need to run 180 degrees to get national security and city safety and better police safety right.
Consent Decrees, Mr Sessions, will enable MORE safety for police, not less!
The Tweety Travel Ban was written to give the border folks 90 days to fix the entry process into America. The 90-120 days will have passed by the time Tweety's court battle ends. Is stubborn pursuit of a wasted Executive Order a good use of time and money? Is this the sort of judgement we want of a President?
You say it is the democratic principle that is on trial here. Really? The Travel Ban court ruling is doing harm to our democracy? How about religious discrimination ding harm to our country and our democracy?
There has been no attack from terrorists. There is actually the same level of entry protection as when the original Travel Ban was signed, so how can Tweety convince you he is worried about our entry process? How do you keep blinding yourself to the obvious contradictions and hypocrisy of the Travel Ban logic?
Has the border patrol people been busy fixing the entry process? I am guessing no one has or intended to do anything and the Travel Ban was entirely for show. There is no plan to change any process to get into this country.
Tweety was just showing his supporters he can sign an Executive Order against Muslims, even if disguised and coded as a matter of national security.

Executive Order 13769, titled Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States, was an executive order issued by United States President Donald Trump in effect, except to the extent blocked by various courts, from January 27, 2017 until March 16, 2017, the effective date of Executive Order 13780. Executive Order 13769 lowered the number of refugees to be admitted into the United States in 2017 to 50,000, suspended the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) for 120 days, suspended the entry of Syrian refugees indefinitely, directed some cabinet secretaries to suspend entry of those whose countries do not meet adjudication standards under U.S. immigration law for 90 days, and included exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Homeland Security lists these countries as Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.[1]"
In the 120 days nothing happened.
