What justification does Donald Trump have, that is legal and substantive, other than she might beat him in the election, and she is a woman!?  How can Trump say Hillary Clinton should not be allowed to run for President.  We still live under a sort of democracy, don't we?  Can't anyone, even David Duke, a leader in the KKK community, and Donald's friend, run for President?

Donald is under investigation as much as Hillary, you know, for his own set of "crimes."

Here is some material on good Presidents to consider; old school, written as though a man is the best man to be president.

"John Adams was a leader from whom we all have much to learn. While he never led men into battle or added almost a million acres to the United States, as the men before and after him did, I will venture to say, as McCullough does, that our country would not exist if it had not been for John Adams. The following list contains 12 qualities that made him a great man, a great leader, and a great example we should all strive to emulate:

He valued education - he read and read and read lots of books.  "He read Homer and Cicero in their native languages and would go on to learn French and much of the Dutch tongue. He would often quote Shakespeare at length in letters to his beloved Abigail." [His wife]

He strove for a good reputation - "He therefore set out to become known in Boston for all the right reasons."  I am not sure what the "right" reasons were at that time, but I am sure it was not to be a "celebrity."

He loved his wife - "He, as every leader should do, always sought council from others. But his most valued counsel just happened to be his best friend and spouse. Adams never operated in a bubble and neither should you."  He married and lived with one wife all his life.  That is a commitment to an honest, willing to compromise, intelligent relationship,  NO cheating.

He fought for what was right - "Adams, always mindful of his reputation, knew that when he agreed to defend the British soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre, his reputation would be ruined, as the British were hated in Boston. But he knew it was the right thing to do. It was during the trial that Adams famously said, “Facts are stubborn things.”  Facts are truth, and valuable assets over the long run  Facts help our country when part of the debate to support a Presidential race.  All candidates can do well with this former President's example.  Wouldn't every American want to choose their President based on the truth.

He was a great communicator - "He read books, essays, and poetry and worked his whole life to become an orator of the same magnitude as Cicero or Demosthenes."  Talking long, using a lot of words, speaking in incomplete sentences and sound bites, will never make good oratory.

He saw his shortcomings and recruited others to fill in the gaps - "John Adams had no qualms admitting he was not the right person for a job."  Enough here to work with.

He recognized talent - "This is perhaps where Adams shined the brightest. He was the first to submit George Washington’s name for general of the Continental Army, a post being clamored for by many. And as if that were not enough, he recruited the pen of Thomas Jefferson to draft the Declaration of Independence and the wisdom of Benjamin Franklin to help edit it."  Hopefully this is something our next President can do well.

He was brave in the face of physical danger - "I debated whether or not to include this as many will never face a situation of great physical danger, but I decided to as many recent news stories revolve around violence, disasters, and bullying."  Trump avoided the military like the plague, even after his father sent him to a military school to try to give him some self discipline.  Do his supporters really believe Donald Trump is a tough guy.  He is a bully clearly, but that does not make him tough.  Saying what he thinks with no impulse control or filter, things I would never say out of decency and respect, not fear, does not make Donald tough.

He had unwavering integrity - "Adams unwavering integrity stands apart when contrasted to the very publicly documented failings of so many of our leaders today. There is no evidence of Adams ever being unfaithful to Abigail while spending years in Europe away from her. He was also known for keeping detailed reports of all his expenditures while overseas on congressional money when many of his contemporaries did not. Many people disliked Adams for his political views, but they never could say that he was not a man of integrity."

Study this one.  Both 2016 Presidential candidates have serious shortcomings.  Be careful of false equivalence.  Example of false equivalence and playing loose with the facts is Trump saying Hillary is under a criminal investigation, or at least implying she is a criminal without evidence to prove the claim.  There is NO criminal charge at this date against Hillary Clinton for the emails investigation.  No one is guilty until 12 jurors say "guilty."  Hillary's emails are a basis for an investigation, not a criminal proceedings.  In 44 years in Department of Defense work, I witnessed breaches of classified information.  All of these breaches were accidental.  None resulted in CRIMINAL charges because criminal intent is the extreme, not the norm.  You are more likely to learn Hillary Clinton accidentally breached protocol in handling the classified information in her emails.  She is not a Russian spy and did not INTENTIONALLY pass secrets to our enemies.  It is VERY unlikely Hillary Clinton willfully revealed US secrets.

On the other hand, Donald Trump is going to court 28 November for the alleged fraudulent Trump University situation.  The fraudulent claims of the Trump University was a form of stealing money from the students.  So Donald Trump too is innocent until proven guilty.

Get the whole story and do not cut off your logical thinking until you pull the thread all the way.

He had perseverance - "He was new to being a diplomat and found it tiring and ill suited for him. But he pressed on. He pressed on for America and after securing a substantial loan from the Dutch government he commented to Abigail that he’d accomplished this, not out of skill that others did not possess, but out of shear perseverance."  We need to have patience to match our future President's perseverance.

He could see the big picture - "He gave his time, his education, and his health to the cause of liberty. He never sought power, once writing in his diary that he was no Caesar."  Which candidate has spent most of their lives trying to serve well in public service?  Your call, private vs public.

He was a true servant - "The public career of John Adams can be described as nothing other than service beyond self."  He literally gave his life so that every American might have the freedom and liberty to live the life we choose.
