OK, Tweety, make the deal of a life time NOW.
America no longer is interested in bargaining with countries based on their internal affairs, so if Russia has issues internally with human rights, that is on Russia alone. Can't we strike deals to benefits both parties and avoid aggressions?
"Could the US and Russia be about to strike a deal on Syria?"
Despite frosty relations, Moscow and Washington seem to be on the brink of an ambitious agreement

This was back in 2016 with Obama. No way to get there then. But maybe Tweety can make a deal with Russia; a different attitude exists between Tweety and Putin; maybe Russia can be persuaded to leave Assad out in the cold?
"'A grotesquely cynical charade': It looks like Russia is 'dangling' a new offer to entice Trump against attacking Assad"
Natasha Bertrand, 5 April 17
"Russian president Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said Thursday that while Russia and Syria "enjoy a relationship of cooperation," Russia does not support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad "unconditionally."
On 6 April Tweety order an attack on a Syrian airfield and the Russians were pissed. What will it take to get Putin to abandon Assad?
"Why Donald Trump Won’t Try and Oust Syria's Bashar al-Assad"
By Mirren Gidda On 4/6/17
"Though Obama chose to divert military resources to attacking ISIS, he continued to talk about the importance of removing Assad. That’s why, on March 31, the Trump administration shocked U.S. foreign policy experts when it publicly announced it would no longer focus on Assad’s removal. Speaking to reporters, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said: “We had an opportunity and we need to focus now on defeating ISIS. The United States has profound priorities in Syria and Iraq and we've made it clear that counterterrorism, particularly the defeat of ISIS, is foremost.”"
The world was shocked? Hell, all of America was shocked that Tweety was not going after Asad! The gassing of Syrian peole changed that, but who knows what will follow the first strike. Anything?
"Seventy-six days into his presidency, Trump has finally confronted the bloody mess that is Syria. And, like his predecessor, he may have realized that it’s nearly impossible for the U.S. to clean it up."
Maybe Tweety can go to Iran? It will take a lot for him to swallow his pride, and the crap he said on his campaign, but maybe gong to Iran is an answer?
"Is Assad being toppled by Russia? Putin 'ABANDONS' leader as he hauls troops out of Syria"

"Negotiators locked in peace talks believe the Russian president's shock decision to withdraw troops from war-ravaged Syria suggests he could be prepared to force Assad to step down.
Russia's military campaign – which Putin has hailed as a "mission accomplished" – had reportedly focused on attacking terror groups such as ISIS and is thought to have tipped the balance of power in Assad's favour."
Maybe Putin is already prepared to abandon Assad?

"Russian President Vladimir Putin’s high-profile meeting with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran on November 23 has triggered speculation that the two sides are weighing some serious policy choices about Syria. The key question, as always, is the fate of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad."
