In some way Tweety Trump may be a "stable genius," but nothing good comes from what he is "smart" about.  The list of his lies (about 12,000 in over 900 days in office), corruption, bad decisions (abandon the Kurds and dropping out of multi-national treaties like the Iran deal, and generally ignoring clearly stated laws that are inconvenient for him.

In my great and unmatched wisdom . . . Donald Trump.  How many other delusions is Trump up to?

"Trump Declares Himself “King of Israel,” the “Second Coming of God”"
The president is sick of “disloyal” American Jews, who apparently don’t know what’s good for them. But “Jewish people in Israel love him,” according to the crazed conspiracy theorist Trump quoted on Twitter.

"t’s been an eventful 18 hours in the fevered mind of Donald Trump. Yesterday, the president unleashed an anti-Semitic rant in the Oval Office in which he declared that Jews who vote for Democrats are either uneducated or disloyal. Unfortunately, with about 70% of Americans Jews being registered Democrats, that’s a lot of disloyalty. So Trump looked elsewhere for answers, and lo, he found an unhinged supporter who says Israelis (the real Jews!) love Trump like the “King of Israel” and “the second coming of God.” Then he cited him on Twitter:

It’s probably self-evident that anyone claiming Trump is the Messiah is not right in the head, but just so it’s on the record, Wayne Allyn Root—a self-described “Jew turned evangelical Christian”—is an unhinged conspiracy theorist who believes the 2017 Las Vegas shooting was a “coordinated Muslim terror attack” by ISIS and that George Soros paid actors to stage the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville that included Nazi chants like “Jews will not replace us.”"

Trump is lots of things, but not God; more like anti-God, also known as the Anti-Christ!

As stated in the article "Stupid Watergate." " . . . he [Trump] is not merely a man of limited intelligence and discipline but a very real danger to the national security of the country? [Several that quit . . . and warned us by their act of departure: James Mattis. H. R. McMaster. Gary Cohn. John Kelly. Rex Tillerson."]

Trump has shown he is too stupid to be President for years before he became President.  He didn't get elected because he was smart, and for my friends that say he was a good business man, LOL!!!   He had ~$400M and turned it into four bankruptcies!  THAT is NOT a good businessman!

Trump took ~$400M and turned it into multiple bankruptcies.  Dumb!

Trump deficits are highest in 7 years because of his idea of tax cuts and business deregulation - GDP not growing enough!  Dumb!

Trump wants to dictate Fed policy when he is terrible at economics, literally- politicizing the Fed!  Dumb!

The Trump tariffs, his personal Trade War with China is unwinnable, and, most important, off point given the real issue was intellectual property theft!  Dumb!

Trump's idea of a "deal" is a demand.  Dumb!

Trump thinks a strong EU is bad for the USA.  Dumb!

The Trump Trade War with China requires a socialist subsidy to the farmers it is hurting, and Trade Wars ruin future markets.  SOCIALISM! Dumb!

Trump withdraws from Syria, abandoning Kurd allies.  Dumb!

Trump openly seeks China's help investigating a political rival, despite already being investigated for his Ukraine mafia like strong arm of Ukrainian President for an investigation of Joe Biden.  Dumb!

Trump doesn't know what a Christian is.  Dumb!

Trump's stupidity and lack of Presidential level intelligence has been on display for years.

"Donald Trump Is Proving Too Stupid to Be President"
“You know, I’m, like, a smart person.” Uh huh.

"I'm starting to suspect that Donald Trump may not have been right when he said, “You know, I’m like a smart person.” The evidence continues to mount that he is far from smart — so far, in fact, that he may not be capable of carrying out his duties as president.

There is, for example, the story of how Trump met with the pastors of two major Presbyterian churches in New York. “I did very, very well with evangelicals in the polls,” he bragged. When the pastors told Trump they weren’t evangelicals, he demanded to know, “What are you then?” They told him they were mainline Presbyterians. “But you’re all Christians?” he asked. Yes, they had to assure him, Presbyterians are Christians. The kicker: Trump himself is Presbyterian."

OMG!  Trump shows himself a dumber every day!  THAT is why he has to tell America he is smart, because he shows himself as dumb daily!  Read his tweets, watch his news conferences and rallies, and assess what he has "done."  He is DUMB, or, at best, incapable of being President!

I see people define "smart" differently . . . any many define it in a DUMB way so they can see Trump as anything other than dumb!  It is laughable!

"Why his fans think Donald Trump has “great and unmatched wisdom”"

https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2019/10/08/why-his-fans-think-donald-trump-has-great-unmatched-wisdom/

"Donald Trump’s strange obsession with IQ and intellectual superiority was on display again Monday when he referred to his “great and unmatched wisdom.” That adds to his previous claim that he was a “very stable genius,” with a “very high IQ.” In addition to boasting about his own intellectual superiority, he derides his opponents for their lack of smarts: he called Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) an “extraordinarily low IQ person” and called Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, “Dummy Beto.” His obsession with intelligence is especially remarkable given his own frequent incoherence and major gaps in knowledge. And yet, his base seems more convinced by Trump’s boasts than bothered by his embarrassing lack of knowledge.

The reason stems from long-standing disagreements about what intelligence is. We may think we’re talking about the same innate quality of mind, but one person’s “smart” is another person’s “stupid.” As much as we use “intelligence” to describe technical expertise and reasoned judgment, it has also been the go-to explanation for success. Depending on who has successfully secured power, different qualities have been called intelligence at different points in history.

Given the instability of intelligence, it’s no use trying to claim that Trump is stupid. Instead, the best way forward for Democrats is to move beyond intelligence and speak to the specific judgment and capabilities a candidate must have — the kind of intelligence we want in a president — in order to face the enormous challenges of leading the country."

Speak to what trump does, because we know he is stupid, notwithstanding anything he brags about (who brags they are smarter than everyone?!) or, at best, extremely immature and a megalomaniac!

It's complicated . . .

" . . . complicated history of what constitutes intelligence or proof of intellectual prowess helps explain how many of Trump’s critics can see him as grossly unqualified and lacking the knowledge and capacity to be president, while his supporters respect his acumen and see him as a man whose intelligence is proved by his success.

What we mean by “intelligent” or “genius” ultimately depends on the kind of proof we look for. Trump’s supporters see him as smart because he’s formidable and has a long history as a prominent businessman: His unscrupulous business practices and ethical foibles are explained as being shrewd, his unwillingness to release his tax returns like past presidents, a symbol of his business success and by extension, a sign of his intelligence.

By contrast, his opponents focus on his stumbles: from claiming that there were airports during the Revolutionary War, to his run-of-the-mill, day-to-day inaccuracies, to his constant spelling errors and typos, all offer up proof of mental inferiority.

The history of intelligence shows that no matter how many of these stumbles there are, Trump’s critics will never be able to convince his supporters that the president is not smart enough to be president."

"“Stupid Watergate” Is Worse Than the Original"

"Comparatively speaking, Richard Nixon has been getting a lot of glowing press these days. As if to propose the never-before-in-history uniqueness of our current moment, we rush to remind ourselves of the lovelier sides of Tricky Dick: his constructive cunning in foreign affairs, particularly the opening to China; his sporadic moments of progressivism, including the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency; and, finally, his scowling acknowledgement of the inevitable in August, 1974, when he received the leaders of the Republican Party and accepted their counsel that support for him had vanished in the Senate and the public at large. John Oliver’s way of paying wiseass tribute to the sepia past is to cast our twenty-first-century travails as “Stupid Watergate”—a scandal that is at least as horrific as the bell-bottomed original, but one in which “everyone involved is stupid and bad at everything.”"

MORE . . .

". . . As Carl Bernstein, who, with Bob Woodward, broke the crucial stories in the Watergate scandal for the Washington Post, told me, “When Nixon talked about his crimes, he talked about them in private. He conspired in private. Trump is out front and center about his crimes, his corruption.” The text messages between and among diplomats that were released on Thursday are merely confirmation that Trump’s diplomats, aides, and operatives were furtively, and anxiously, discussing what their master makes no effort to conceal."

It really is about NATINAL SECURITY because Tweety Trump does NOT care about the country, he cares ONLY about Donald Trump!

"Trump’s shamelessness leaves Nixon far behind. There is every indication that Trump cares only about his personal fate, and little about the diplomatic or economic consequences to the country. But can this really be news? How many officials who left Trump’s inner circle have waved their hands to tell us that he is not merely a man of limited intelligence and discipline but a very real danger to the national security of the country?  James Mattis. H. R. McMaster. Gary Cohn. John Kelly. Rex Tillerson"
