I try and try and try to see the perspective of Trump supporters saying all the bad things Trump does are fake, unreal, a huge conspiracy to get Trump and "undo the will of the people."  One of the worst is a former establishment guy talking crap about "the establishment," 75 year old former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.

"The Man Who Broke Politics"  [Possibly destroyed America by enabling our worst self to surface, and invade our way of life.]
Newt Gingrich turned partisan battles into bloodsport, wrecked Congress, and paved the way for Trump’s rise. Now he’s reveling in his achievements.

"[At a zoo . . . ]  . . .

Outside the lion pen, Gingrich treats me to a brief discourse on gender theory: “The male lion procreates, protects the pride, and sleeps. The females hunt, and as soon as they find something, the male knocks them over and takes the best portion. It’s the opposite of every American feminist vision of the world—but it’s a fact!”

But the most important lesson comes as we wander through Monkey Junction. Gingrich tells me about one of his favorite books, Chimpanzee Politics, in which the primatologist Frans de Waal documents the complex rivalries and coalitions that govern communities of chimps. De Waal’s thesis is that human politics, in all its brutality and ugliness, is “part of an evolutionary heritage we share with our close relatives”—and Gingrich clearly agrees."

It's amazing and idiotic that Gingrich wants to use an animal analogy for human behavior.

".  .  .  few figures in modern history have done more than Gingrich to lay the groundwork for Trump’s rise. During his two decades in Congress, he pioneered a style of partisan combat—replete with name-calling, conspiracy theories, and strategic obstructionism—that poisoned America’s political culture and plunged Washington into permanent dysfunction. Gingrich’s career can perhaps be best understood as a grand exercise in devolution—an effort to strip American politics of the civilizing traits it had developed over time and return it to its most primal essence."

Gingrich likes devolution.  It's not worthy of America.

".  .  .  few hours after parting ways with Gingrich, I take my seat in a cavernous downtown-Philadelphia theater, where more than 2,000 people are waiting to hear him speak. The crowd of mostly white, mostly well-dressed attendees isn’t particularly partisan—the event is part of a lecture series that includes speakers like Gloria Steinem and Dave Barry—but at this moment of political upheaval, they seem eager to hear from a seasoned Washington insider.

Shortly after 8 o’clock, Gingrich takes the stage. “How many of you find what’s going on kind of confusing?” he asks. “Raise your hand.” Hundreds of hands go up, as laughter ripples across the theater. “Any of you who do not find this confusing,” he says, “are delusional.”

And yet, over the next 75 minutes, Gingrich doesn’t offer much clarity."

Newt Gingrich is an addled old dinosaur preaching crap that hurts America, and he's too far gone to know the damage he's doing.

Can America adapt to what is becoming a permanent culture war of OTHERISM and EVANGELICAL HYPOCRISY?  How?  Can America, the country, survive with so much divisiveness?

Each comment above, left criticizing Trump, and right, praising Trump, mostly, is exaggerated.  The truth is more complex.

FACTS:

  - Trump's mission is to feed his base and working very hard to DIVIDE THE COUNTRY!,

  - Trump is a classic narcissistic sociopath, and a pathological liar, has lied, used "truthful hyperbole," and purposely created fake news over 6,000 times in two years,

  - Trump said stupid things to the leader of North Korea, but no one knows if Un would have every fired a nuke at the US - most likely not since Un knows that would end his country; but Un also knows he must retain his nukes or the US will attack.

  -  People do not all hate Trump, but those he attacks, bullies, and belittles with nasty comments and Tweets surely do not like him,

  - The world has reason to laugh at Trump because he acts like a buffoon every time he is in an international setting, but no one knows if they laugh; my guess is they cringe.

  - Trump has changed what the GOP was, and their is no honor in being a Republican under trump due to his divisive efforts,

  - Trump is a sociopathic narcist be any medical assessment, thus only cares for himself and has NO empathy for anyone's suffering,

  - Cartoons are nasty on BOTH sides,

  - Trump has not defeated ISIS forever as they will return (you cannot kill an philosophy, or eliminate the hate many Muslims have for America) and Trump was not the leader responsible for the "victory,"

  - the tax cut did NOT reduce poverty,

  - the tax cut will increase poverty, wait a year to see what the stock market looks like,

  - Trump is focused wrongly on our southern border when Sanctuary Cities REDUCE crime (FACT!), and domestic terrorists are a bigger threat than ISIS and police are more violent toward blacks,

  - Trump HAS enabled a stronger economy and reduced unemployment, but his style yields uncertainty so time will tell if what he did helps or hurts Americans, like deregulation as an example will unleash pollution and poisons that will kill people, and

  - like it or not, the World laughs, but also cringes at all Trump's foolishness as his diplomacy sucks BAD!

A DIVIDER OF OUR NATION IS OTHERISM:

A DIVIDER OF OUR NATION IS EVANGELICALS, AS THEY SHOW HYPOCRISY -

"Religious and philosophical views of Albert Einstein"

"Albert Einstein's religious views have been widely studied and often misunderstood.[1] Einstein stated that he believed in the pantheistic God of Baruch Spinoza.[2] He did not believe in a personal God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings, a view which he described as naïve.[3] He clarified however that, "I am not an atheist",[4] preferring to call himself an agnostic,[5] or a "religious nonbeliever."[3] Einstein also stated he did not believe in life after death, adding "one life is enough for me."[6] He was closely involved in his lifetime with several humanist groups"

Bottom line, Einstein saw religion and God as a weakness of man.
